Why industrial plants choose EVESS

We do not sell isolated machines. We engineer complete process systems built to keep a plant running predictably for decades.

Turnkey project delivery

One contract covers the whole scope - process development and engineering design, equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning, operator training and after-sales support. A single EVESS engineering team carries responsibility for the result, so there is no gap between suppliers to fall into.

In-house manufacturing

Fabrication, assembly, factory acceptance testing and quality control all happen on the EVESS shop floor. Nothing critical is subcontracted, which is why lead times and build quality stay under our control rather than a vendor's.

Quality proven before it ships

Every line is engineered to the international ANSI and ASME design standards, and every assembly is inspected in-house and signed off at a factory acceptance test before it ships. Nothing leaves the shop floor on the strength of a paper check alone.

Engineered to your process

Every line is designed around your process sequence, target throughput, part range, building constraints and specification - not adapted from a catalogue configuration that nearly fits.

Intelligent process automation

Real-time monitoring of process parameters, remote dispatcher access, automatic equipment diagnostics, event logging and full traceability of every batch that passes through the line.

Proven on demanding projects

Delivered engineering projects for aerospace, nuclear, marine, mechanical engineering and oil & gas manufacturers - sectors where coating specifications and documentation requirements leave no margin.

Built for aggressive environments

Materials and construction are selected against the actual chemical load, temperature, humidity and duty cycle of the plant, which is what gives the equipment its reliability and long service life.

Anodizing lines

Manual, semi-automatic and fully automated

The level of automation is matched to your production programme and part range.

Automation level01

Manual lines

The operator moves the jigs between tanks. Built for small batches and development work, and still fully equipped with instrumentation, heating and extraction.

Automation level02

Semi-automatic lines

Mechanised transport with the operator handling selected steps. The right fit for medium volumes and a mixed part range.

Automation level03

Automated lines

A hoist under PLC/SCADA control: exact immersion times, batch-to-batch repeatability and minimal labour. Built for series production.

Environment and water treatment

Effluent treatment for anodizing lines

The effluent treatment plant is engineered as one system with the anodizing line and its control platform: stream collection and segregation, reagent treatment and final polishing - through to safe discharge or reuse of the water.

  • Neutralization of acid and alkaline effluent
  • Heavy metal removal and clarification
  • Treated water returned to the process

Industrial ventilation

Ventilation systems

Fume extraction and gas cleaning for surface finishing shops. Lip extraction removes vapours and mists directly at the bath surface, ductwork in chemically resistant polymer carries them to treatment - a fibre-bed mist filter or a wet scrubber - and the cleaned air is discharged at a safe stack height.

  • Lip extraction at the bath surface
  • Fibre-bed mist filters and wet scrubbers
  • Chemically resistant polymers: PP, PVC, PVDF

Automation

Automated control systems

The control system runs the line to defined process recipes: it holds immersion times and operation sequence, logs events and gives full traceability of the process. The operator works from a touchscreen HMI on the console; the dispatcher has remote access to the line parameters.

  • Real-time monitoring of process parameters
  • A process recipe for every batch of parts
  • Self-diagnostics and a full event log

Where anodizing is used

Anodizing is one of the defining processes for protecting and functionally modifying an aluminium surface, giving parts durability, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and a high-quality finish. Those properties are why the technology is specified across the most demanding industries.

About the technology →

Architecture & Construction

External cladding, door and window profiles, roofing and fixings. Protection from the environment together with the finish the design calls for.

Automotive, Marine & Machinery

Body components, engine parts and cooling radiators. In marine work the coating is what protects aluminium alloys against seawater.

Aerospace

Lightweight structural elements of the airframe, landing-gear assemblies and internal units - anywhere strength at minimum weight decides the design.

Electronics & Instrumentation

Phone and laptop housings, heat sinks and reflectors. The oxide film doubles as a reliable dielectric.

Consumer Products

Cookware, sports equipment, furniture hardware and interior fittings.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that grows an oxide layer on aluminium. The part is made the anode in an electrolyte tank, and under DC current a layer of Al₂O₃ forms on the surface, integrally bonded to the base metal. The coating is harder and far more corrosion-resistant than the metal beneath it, and can be coloured before sealing.
